Make the first version small

Choose a task that already has a clear before and after. A weekly status update, a client recap, or a research summary is ideal because you can see immediately whether the workflow is helping.

Keep the first workflow deliberately narrow. Once it saves time reliably, you can refine the inputs, add a checklist, and decide whether any part of it deserves further automation.
